I read this article in the Daily Mail a couple of days ago. Aside from this little cutie being the most adorable thing I've seen in a long time, I love this story for several other reasons.
I love that someone reported the mother being hit by the car, instead of just driving away.
I love that vets tried to save the mother, instead of just euthanizing her immediately.
And I love that they went to the trouble of delivering baby Rupert by cesarean instead of just letting him die.
Call me a softy (go ahead, I dare ya!) but it makes me happy when humans take such care of the other creatures with whom we share our planet.
